A trip to San Diego

We started the new year off right with a trip to San Diego.  It was incredible weather and a wonderful time.  We did the zoo and had very good animal experiences - some of the best we have had!  We went to the beach, Ocean Air Park, the zoo at night and looked at lights, and the USS Midway.  It was a full 2 days and the girls had a blast.  They really enjoy these trips and that helps make the work involved worth it.  Maddy is no longer a baby....she is hanging with the big kids and walked a good portion of the zoo. Amazing what a difference a year makes!

 

 

Long Beach Aquarium

Over the holiday weekend we hit the road! We went to the Long Beach Aquarium which was excellent!  It was fantastic weather and a nice change of pace.  The girls loved the sea lions, tuna and sharks.  We also saw penguins, HUGE sting rays and seals.  We didn't even make it through the whole place but we will be back!

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas morning.  Stockings, pancakes, bacon, eggs, strawberries and lots of presents.  We had a wonderful Christmas morning, Ann and Russ came over and we had a nice relaxing time.  The girls had a wonderful morning and it was all about being together.  Merry Christmas!

Bigler's Christmas Party

Here are the girls all dressed in their beautiful dresses at Grandmother Ann's Christmas Party.  The girls did an excellent job and were in good spirits even without a nap!  Lilly had her add-a-pearl necklace on for a couple of minutes but it didn't last long….maybe next year!

Swim Outing with Mom

I was able to get out of work a little early so I grabbed the girls from school and we headed to the gym to go swimming.  They had a great time and did some really good swimming. 

Ice Skating Party #2

Gabby had a 2nd birthday party at the ice skating rink.  Gabby did much better this time and was skating with her friends without me!
