This all started when I was tapping my hands on the couch today and told Gabby it was like a drum. She then went to her music box (a box full of musical instruments) and gabbed her 2 drum sticks and her drum. Everyone joined in. This is a snapshot of the session...but Gabby loved it. She was rocking (literally rocking back & forth) to the music. Gabby went to another music session a few weeks ago and several parents commented on how much Gabby loved the music and was into it - perhaps she has some rhythm?!
We have created this blog for our loved ones so that they can follow the growth and development of our precious daughters, Gabriella, Lillian & Madeline. We hope that you enjoy it and please feel free to forward it to anyone that you feel may want to follow our lives. With Love, Kandiss & Gordon

Children's Museum - San Diego
We went to the Children's Museum on Saturday morning. It was amazing! Gabby had a ball and will most definitely be returning. She got to ride in the cart (which was not as easy as it looks to drive), paint a whale (and her dress), play with chalk, dance in the rain house, jump in the bounce tunnel and ride a pony! There are so many wonderful and educational things to do at the museum and not only do the kids enjoy it but so do the parents!

Father's Day 2010
Today was Father's Day. We had a early morning but decided to make the most of it and made homemade waffles with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries! We then went to church and it was the first time Gabby didn't cry (or even whimper) when we left her - I guess she is growing up! Gabby is into shoes right now and really likes to wear her black patent shoes :) In the morning, as soon as we get up, she goes to the shoes and picks out which ones she wants to wear.
This outfit is one of the new ones from Grandmother Ann. Gabby enjoyed pointing out the bees on her dress all the way to church. She likes this dress but the blue one that she got at the same time is her favorite :) It's blue - and blue is her favorite color! Gabby is starting to wear her hair in a ponytail! I will try to get a picture of it because it is so cute.
I thought I'd take a picture of the balls that are constantly all over our floor. Gabby LOVES throwing the balls. The only thing is she has not quite grasped the concept that she should throw the balls forward and sometimes they fly out backwards. She loves to carry the box of balls to the kitchen and dump them there and then run through the pile of balls kicking them. Oh well...she likes to sort and count them so we will just continue to pick them up all day long!
Gabby has acquired a couple of more cows to her herd and loves them all. She is learning her letters and is getting close to knowing them all. She also got her first tea set and is ready to start hosting her very own tea parties! Gabby got to hang out with the Tom boys yesterday and is starting to be more like "one of the boys". She rides the trikes with the best of them! Carter takes very good care of her and makes sure that she eats all the fish she can possibly want and that she gets lots of hugs.
