This is how we spent our weekend...in the pool and on the farm! The girls had a fun paydate and everyone was in the pool. We made homemade chocolate ice cream that never froze but it was mom's fault! Then we headed to the farm to see the Grandparents as it had been a couple months since our last visit. Girls are doing well and getting into the school routine!
We have created this blog for our loved ones so that they can follow the growth and development of our precious daughters, Gabriella, Lillian & Madeline. We hope that you enjoy it and please feel free to forward it to anyone that you feel may want to follow our lives. With Love, Kandiss & Gordon

Gabby's 1st Day at Ronald Reagan and 2nd Grade!
I'm not sure who this is harder on...parents or kids! Gabby started public school today at Ronald Reagan Elementary School. She is in Ms. Nancy Knauer's class A-7. We met the teacher yesterday and today was the official 1st day. Sisters were so excited for her and I am very proud of my big girl! She already knows 2 kids in her class and that helps...

Madeline and Lillian's 1st Day of School
Today was Madeline's 1st day of school at Little Red School House!! She was so excited...not one tear from her (mom was another story)! She was excited to go to school with Lilly (and Lilly was giving her all the instructions as to how to behave in Room 1...no hitting, biting, hair pulling, etc...). Hard to believe that my baby is all grown up. Time is moving so fast....
Lots of Pool Time Over the Weekend
This is where we were most of the weekend...in the pool! It was a hot weekend and there was no where else to be. Maddy is really doing well in the water and Sunday was exciting because Grandma Debi made a trip to town and got to go swimming with the girls!

A Shrek of a Weekend!
Gabby completed her time at theatre camp and they put on 2 productions of Shrek. I was very impressed! The show that they put in 4 weeks was great! Gabby was thrilled and did a great job. She was the Woodland Mouse. The girls got a chance to go and watch and loved it as well. Fun was had by all.

Getting Ready for Shrek
This is Gabby at rehearsal for Shrek. Her big production is this Friday and Saturday. She is very excited and I have no doubt she will be a great Woodland Creature (she is a bunny). So happy that she has had this experience...she has really enjoyed it.
A little story about Gabby. I got the catalogue for Chasing Fireflies and it was sitting on our counter. Gabby started looking at it and saw that it was the Halloween edition. She then spent an hour looking at all the outfits and decided that she would like to be an angel this year. The outfit she picked out was $56. I told her she could buy it but that she had to earn the money to get it. We agreed that 1 time around the block on her bike was worth 25 cents and if she runs around the block (1/2 mile) it is worth $1. Yesterday she rode 10 times and ran 1. Today she rode her bike around the block 20 times!! She is looking for chores and ways to earn $$ so she can buy that outfit. Love our Gabbers!
WACKY Wednesday
Yesterday was Wacky Wednesday at Little Red School House. Look at this totally wacky girl!!! She was worried that she was not wacky enough...is that possible? Love Lilly to the moon and back :)

A Fun Weekend in San Diego
Brooke and I took all the kids for a quick weekend trip to San Diego. It was exhausting and trying but wonderful. The kids had a blast and all got along. 5 kids 6 and under is a lot but it was worth it! Lots of great walking and sights at the zoo...did it in the morning and at night time and took the skyfari and bus tour! Lots of great beach time and Lilly did her first boogie boarding! The water and temperature was amazing and we had a fantastic time.
Time with Grandmother and Theatre Camp
Gabby is in a production of Shrek and is really enjoying theatre camp. One day she dressed up as Belle and then it was Throwback Thursday and she dressed as she was in the 80's (which I believe is back in style now)!
Each of the girls have been spending time at Grandmother Ann's. Maddy enjoys tea, Lilly loves coloring and lining everything up in an orderly fashion and Gabby likes reading her Junie B books.
