On Saturday we went with the Kandel's to see the movie Cinderella. It is a cute movie but no animation makes it tough for younger kids. The girls enjoyed the outing as did I. This morning, we went to the tennis courts and then went on an adventure of a bike ride. Along the way, we stopped at Mary Christensen's house and saw that the Easter Bunny delivered hundreds of eggs. She always decorates her yard so cute and the girls love the eggs!
We have created this blog for our loved ones so that they can follow the growth and development of our precious daughters, Gabriella, Lillian & Madeline. We hope that you enjoy it and please feel free to forward it to anyone that you feel may want to follow our lives. With Love, Kandiss & Gordon

Easter Parade at LRSH
Thursday was the Easter Parade at LRSH. I was unable to go but got lots of pics and videos so I feel like I was there! Maddy went and LOVED hanging with her sisters. She did not want any part of Cheyenne and thought that she was a big girl. Lilly sang her song beautifully and Gabby recited her song perfectly. All the girls had a great time and enjoyed the Easter festivities at school.
Story Time
We are so happy that Maddy gets to a couple of story time's a week. She loves the interaction and is a very good listener. She sits in her seat and enjoys her outings with Cheyenne.
Proud Mom
Gabby got her 3rd Quarter report card and all but 2 A+'s!!! She is one smart kid that loves to learn and we are very proud of her. She is excited to maybe go to math camp this summer and that makes me so excited. She loves to learn!

All in one weekend
We had a very full weekend! It started early on Saturday when we packed up and went up to the farm to watch the baby lambs get vaccinated and their tails cut off. The girls were in on the action and enjoyed that experience. We then played with Freckles and went for a ride on Morning Glory. We had an abbreviated ride because I had all 3 girls by myself and Lilly and Maddy don't last too long on the horse.
We then got our party clothes on and went to cousin Sadie's 1st birthday party. It was a very nice party and decorated very well. The girls had lemon cupcakes and homemade ice cream and thought it was great.
We packed up and headed back to Bakersfield to attend the Annual Werdel Easter Egg Hunt. This is an event the girls look forward to each year. Gabby looked so hard for the Golden Egg and did not find it again this year but I was proud of the fact that she looked and looked and never took a break! The party went on until 6pm and finished with pizza and tacos. The girls were pretty tired after such a full and fun day.
Sunday we packed the girls up and went with our friends to Ventura for a beach day. It was supposed to be cool and cloudy but it was a fabulous day and the kids lasted until 4pm on the beach!
I'm tired but it was a nice weekend full of fun and wonderful learning experiences. Feels like summer is here with a bang!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
The girls are excited for a fun day at the school. The green foot prints and gold dust everywhere are always a highlight for the kids. Gabby has such spirit. Lilly refused to wear anything green - good thing her St. Patrick's Day shirt was pink! Maddy has been enjoying the warmer weather and more time playing outside. Lots of fun!

Busy Weekend
It was a very busy weekend! I was up north for a work trip, Gordon came and spent the night so we had an adult night out and then we boogied home and saw our munchkins. We planted our garden, tomatoes, bell peppers, basil and spearmint this year. Sunday was a day of activity...bike ride and tennis in the morning, followed by a trip to the gym pool, then our friends met us and we played outside, jumped into our outdoor pool and went for a bike ride to the clubhouse. The kids slept well last night :) So did I! Lots of fun times and hot weather - not sure we are ready for 90's yet but we don't really have a choice. Friday is the first day of Spring so we are not too far away!

Maddy in her Christmas Dress
She loves wearing her Christmas dress...and why not? I let her play in it because we will not have another opportunity to use it so why not? She loves it! It won't fit for too much longer....
First Beach Trip of the Year
These girls loved having a day get-away and hitting the beach on Saturday. The weather was incredible and we all had a blast. This was the first trip that Maddy was on and she was a trooper! No nap but she hung in there all day. The water was cold but the kids were in and out of it all day.

A Trip to the Dentist
The older 2 girls had a dentist appointment today. I snapped this picture of Lilly and I see myself...She was adamant that she wanted to wear her sparkly shoes today with her star shirt. Quite the outfit and at one point in my life I would have tried to put a coordinated outfit on her but these days...as long as they are covered, I don't care! Both girls had an excellent visit. No cavities and they are doing a good job with brushing. Going back for a cleaning in a couple of weeks. Gabby has a while until her top teeth will fall out but her molars are coming in.
Maddy did not go to the dentist and instead, got all dolled up! She has grown into Lilly's pink shoes and loves them. She is a "fancy" girl and always has a tutu on - even when she has her PJ's on. She is dressing herself and yet Lilly pretends she cannot even take her shoes off - how different each of them are.

Look Who's Growing up Fast
We took advantage of a break in the rainy weather and got out for a bike ride and some tennis. Lilly wanted to ride her bike to the clubhouse (which is a mile and a half round trip). I was solo with the 3 girls but decided to go for it. She did an awesome job! Gabby was very patient and went slow and waited for us at every road crossing. Lilly made it all the way to the clubhouse and back. She hit some balls and was a great ball girl for Gabby as she hit some balls. It was a great afternoon and the girls and I had a really fun day hanging.
