Lillian's Observation Day at LRSH

Lillian had observation today at LRSH.  Hard to believe she is almost finished with Room 1.  Today Gordon and I were extremely proud of our little girl.  She sat in her chair, listened to Ms. Isabelle and Ms. Ashley, participated in the lesson, sang her songs and knows the boards.  She knows money, Spanish and shapes.  She was so well behaved, we were so proud of her.  Our little Lillybug is growing up and developing into a smart, funny and beautiful young lady!  Good job Lillybug!!!

What a RUSH

With tricky weather this weekend...we got in a nice relaxing bike ride and then decided to head to RUSH.  The girls have a good time when we go there.  Maddy really likes the foam pit and it is hard to get her out of there!  A few videos as well to see the tricks some kids can do (big and small)!

Saturday Fun

We had a great day on Saturday and hit the gym pool in the morning, tennis courts in the afternoon followed by a birthday trip to Dewar's! The girls had Birthday Cake ice cream and Gordon and I split a milkshake.  It was a great birthday and even though I feel all of 38!

Whiskey Flats

We went up to the valley yesterday for Whiskey Flats.  We started the day off with a horse back ride, stopped and said hello to the grandparents and then went to Kernville for the parade.  We were just a little late and got stuck in traffic (that was not moving).  So the girls and I hopped out and walked about a 1/2 mile and caught up to the parade and then actually were in the parade (we hopped in Kathleen's truck and waved to everyone).  It was a beautiful day and we had fun. Gabby went fishing and caught a fish, climbed the rock wall, all the girls bounced in the bounce houses and then about 1:15 decided they were done.  I ran over a mile back to the car, picked up the troops and we headed home.  Lilly was out within 5 minutes of being in the car!  We came home and had a very relaxing evening at home playing in the back yard.

Valentines Day at LRSH

The girls had parties on Friday and took strawberries and cookies/cupcakes.  They had a good time and Lilly got student of the day.  Lilly has made lots of improvement and is a very smart cookie but then one day, will decide to be a little trouble maker.  The other day she was caught hitting a girl that got to the bikes before she did, she was given wall time, as she is walking over to the wall, she glares at the teacher and says "my daddy says I'm an angel".  Those that know Lilly, can only imagine the face and attitude that came with that statement and the reenactment of the scene by the teachers was too funny.  Gabby is almost done with her reading book and is really doing well at school.  Gabby had ballet on Friday and this is what Maddy gets to do while she is dancing....

Under the Weather

You wouldn't know it by looking at her...but this little one has been struggling with pneumonia! First experience for me with this...poor thing has been sick for almost 2 weeks and has lost some weight....and of our 3 girls, she is the one that has the least to lose! She looks so frail right now but is eating well again and is on the road to recovery.  We cancelled our San Diego trip to let her have a weekend of rest - we want this to be over!

Bathroom Art

Look at the beautiful artwork my girls did for me last night in the bathtub!! This one should be fun to clean :)  Regardless, I love the creativity and I think they did a great job!

This is how we roll...

I had to take a picture of these wile munchkins!  This morning it was raining so we headed to the gym wear the girls have a great time playing in the kids club.  They each have their own style but they all had to have a tutu on, all have hair accessories (Gabby and Maddy have clips in the back) and they all needed to have their purses.  Gabby insisted on practicing her flute-a-phone in the car because she must be perfect for graduation... I am wondering if I can make it to graduation?? Lilly beats to her own drum and loves this particular headband!  I love how they are all different and have their own personalities yet like to be similar in so many ways.

Father Daughter Dance

Gordon and Gabby had a date night last night and went to a Father-Daughter Valentines Dance.  Gabby wanted to wear her hair in a bun because she saw a girl at dance wear one with a fancy hair net and she thought it was so beautiful.  We did not have a hair net so we used a fancy red ribbon in her bun - and she looked beautiful.  She wore her pearl necklace and fancy sparkly shoes.  They had a fun time at the dance and she got flowers and they took a formal picture.  What a lucky girl to have a dad take her on a formal date!

Trip To Fresno

There was a luncheon for former female athletes at Fresno State so we decided to take a field trip and take the girls.  We stopped at the zoo first and had a great time there.   Each of the girls had a chance to feed the giraffe and sting rays.  Maddy loved the petting zoo and made all the sounds of the animals.  We then went to the lunch at the alumni house which was excellent and then walked around the campus.  We didn't actually make it to the basket ball game as the little ones petered out...but it was nice to see the campus and all of the changes/upgrades that have been made.
