My mother sent me this picture of me the other day. I don't usually post pictures of myself but I was struck by how much Lilly looks like me when I was a young girl - so I couldn't resist. Lilly is doing great. She is into everything - which is totally normal for her age - and is keeping us on our toes. She got a new room last weekend and seems to really enjoy her new crib. She LOVES bathtime with her sister and they love playing together in the tub. Lilly has learned how to climb out of her blue tub so I think my days of controlled bath time are limited! Lilly loves to climb in and play in the dishwasher and has a nack for finding any sharp knife. She is learning about doors and drawers and what it feels like when fingers get in the way. She enjoys her books...and there are definetly some that are her favorites. She loves her silky blankets and loves to play on pillows. She is making all kinds of sounds and has a few words - most we can't decipher yet but are getting closer. She can say "Brown Bear", "Purple" and has a word for Gabby and baby. She has a cute bye-bye wave and can give great big bear hugs (followed by an occasional head butt). She likes salty food to sweet food and has been enjoying fresh strawberries. She only has 10 teeth at this time so we are trying different foods and she tends to want whatever we are eating...
We have created this blog for our loved ones so that they can follow the growth and development of our precious daughters, Gabriella, Lillian & Madeline. We hope that you enjoy it and please feel free to forward it to anyone that you feel may want to follow our lives. With Love, Kandiss & Gordon

Our Butterfly
Gabby's friend Lucas had a birthday party last weekend and they had a face painter and a balloon artist there for the kids! Gabby and Scarlett were the only 2 girls (other than Lucas' sister) and they enjoy hanging out together. They were both butterflies and had wings and antennas to match. Gabby kept her face paint on for 2 days!
Happy Valentines Day
Lilly was full of love this Valentine's Day. She wore her heart outfit and had a big heart balloon from dad. She is running everywhere and keeps us on our toes. She loves to chase her big sister around and they are playing in their rooms together very nicely. Lilly's hair is long enough to braid on top so I often braid it and leave it for 2 days! I don't have as many pictures of Lilly and will do a better job. She is a true character and just tonight started pointing her finger at me when I said "no"...and laughing at the same time. Lilly loves to play ball and to push her car around the house. Lilly got a new room recently and is enjoying the new crib. She is a true joy and continues to develop into a fun person.
Student of the Week
Gabby was selected as Student of the Week last week. She received a packet full of gift certificates and goodies as well as this special crown. She had several pictures throughout the school and she was the Star of the Week.
Observation Day 2013
Gordon and I both went to Observation Day this year. We were very proud of Gabby. She is learning to tell time, sign language, spanish, calendar, reading, letters, colors, shapes, etc...and she is learning to follow directions! She is a good learner and actively participates in class. She loves books and takes a book to share almost every day. She also loves to sing.
The Race
Gabby and Gordon love to race. It is the best of 5 and it is a 40 yard dash. Gabby is very competitive and we are trying to teach her the art of being a good sport...we are open to suggestions as to the best way to do this with a 4 year old! Gabby loves to race and is a good runner.
