Lillian's 2 month Check-Up

Lillian had her 2 month check up and is doing great. She is 10lbs 8.5ozs and is 23.5 inches! Gabby came to the appointment with us and was there to comfort her sister as she was preparing for her shots. One picture is before the shots and I don't think I need to explain which one is after the shots. Lilly had a small reaction to one of the shots and her leg swelled up and turned red - thank goodness that the baby tylenol helped! Hard to believe that she is already 2 months...where does the time go?

Lillian turns 2 months

This is actually from February 21st...I missed getting her 2 month picture by one day. Darn. She continues to be a happy baby. Still has all her hair!

Gabby and Emilee

Here are a few pictures of Gabby at school with her friend "Em" and their baby dolls. Ann went to Gabby's school and read the class a story. How lucky we are!

Sick?

This is my "sick" child! She told the teacher yesterday that her tummy hurt and so they suggested we keep her home today. I can assure you that there is nothing wrong with my child other than she ate way too much food yesterday at school topped off with a sugary cupcake - no wonder why her tummy hurt :) So...I took her swimming today. After 1 hour, I was exhausted but she wanted to keep swimming. She told me that "she had to swim until she used her kickers and strokers perfectly and that would be a long long time". I couldn't help but laugh and give her lots of hugs. As we were leaving she told me that she needed to exercise with the big people so that her legs got stronger for kicking - she loves it!

Bigler Girls

Gabby loves to hold Lillian and Lilly is usually mesmerized by her but not at this moment :) Gabby is a loving older sister and is very proud of her little sister.

Rainy Day

It is raining today and Gabby was determined that she wanted to wear her "flip-flop" dress. The only problem is that it has capris - not pants! After trying to get her to wear different pants and getting no-where, I decided to go with an oldie but a goodie...leg warmers. I wore leg warmers when I was a kid and thought they were cool - and she went to school thinking she was just like Fancy Nancy - gotta love it!

She didn't care for the glasses at first but quickly got used to them. I think she looks pretty cute :)

Lilly is Growing up Fast

This is Lilly today...my word the child eats a lot! Look at that chin (the second one :)) I love it. She is getting big and is a tall girl and has not lost any of her hair!!

First Family Trip

We had our first family trip...to San Diego. Gordon had a work conference and so the rest of us tagged along. As you can see by the pictures - we had great weather! We did not go to the zoo this trip!!! BUT...we did go to the beach every day. Gabby got to see all other old nannies that were still in San Diego and enjoyed her time with each of them (Elisabeth, Megan and Colleen).

Lilly had her first hike at Torrey Pines with me and we all enjoyed the refreshing air and water. I was a little nervous with all of us sleeping in one room but it worked great...until the last night. Lilly informed us that she did not like the taste of asparagus :)
