Halloween
Gabby wanted to be a bunny rabbit for Halloween. Gabby was so excited and we learned all about bunnies :) On Sunday she went to a haunted house and was very brave. She kept telling me that they were not real monsters that they were pretend monsters so she was not scared.
Monday, Little Red School House had a parade down the street and Gabby was the lead bunny! I am amazed that the white bunny outfit did not end up in the mud...:) Then they sang Halloween songs in front of the whole school and all of the parents The video is too long but I posted a clip of it. They also had pumpkin carving and pinatas at school!
After school Gabby and I carved our pumpkins and then went trick-or-treating. She lasted about 40 min and then decided that she was ready to go home. Once we got home we discovered all of our candy had been taken and we didn't know what to give the remaining trick-or-treaters - so Gabby and I handed out the candy she had been given! The only thing Gabby wanted was a bag of popcorn that she was given so we popped a small bag of popcorn and had a glass of milk and then went to bed (not 1 piece of candy!!). I can only wish that this will be a trend for Halloween's to come...
A Few Fun Pictures
Gabby has been busy these past few weeks. We went to the farm and she got to ride Morning Glory. Grandma Debi was amazed at how far she likes to ride! It was a beautiful day and we had fun visiting with Freckles and the goats. Gabby had a little tumble on the stone floors at Grandma Debi's and ended up with a good knock on her nose...but yes, as Grandpa Dale predicted - she is just fine :)
Gabby got a fun new birthday present - a flannel board complete with all the pieces for any nursery rhyme you can think of! Gabby has had fun playing with her board and lately she pretends she is a teacher and uses her pointer (aka back scratcher) and points to the letters on her board. Old (her stuffed dog) and her dolls are excellent students!
