Lillian at 1 Week Check-Up
Lillian weighed in at 6lbs 8.5 ozs at her 1 week check-up. All is well in her world. She is a good eater and a happy girl!
Merry Christmas
Gabby had a wonderful Christmas - not only did she get a baby sister (which was the sex she wanted) but she also got a visit from Santa!
She got a plethora of Hello Kitty items, but she also got a her wish...to be a ballerina. Gabby will start her dance lessons in 2 weeks - she is very excited!
Gabby also received several puppets - the day after Christmas she had them all lined up and was singing Pom Pom to them (to the tune of Jingle Bells). Too Cute!
Gabby's a Big Sister
Gabby is a big sister! Lillian Marie Bigler arrived 9 days early on 12/20/11. She weighed in at albs 6ozs and is somewhere between 19-20 inches (it is not an exact science). She has a full head of hair and looks a lot like Gabby.
Gabby is enjoying her new role as "big sister". Every night she tells me all of the things that she is going to teach Lillian to do...eat smoothies, go down tunnel slides, how to feed Morning Glory, etc...She is such a good helper!

Halloween
Gabby wanted to be a bunny rabbit for Halloween. Gabby was so excited and we learned all about bunnies :) On Sunday she went to a haunted house and was very brave. She kept telling me that they were not real monsters that they were pretend monsters so she was not scared.
Monday, Little Red School House had a parade down the street and Gabby was the lead bunny! I am amazed that the white bunny outfit did not end up in the mud...:) Then they sang Halloween songs in front of the whole school and all of the parents The video is too long but I posted a clip of it. They also had pumpkin carving and pinatas at school!
After school Gabby and I carved our pumpkins and then went trick-or-treating. She lasted about 40 min and then decided that she was ready to go home. Once we got home we discovered all of our candy had been taken and we didn't know what to give the remaining trick-or-treaters - so Gabby and I handed out the candy she had been given! The only thing Gabby wanted was a bag of popcorn that she was given so we popped a small bag of popcorn and had a glass of milk and then went to bed (not 1 piece of candy!!). I can only wish that this will be a trend for Halloween's to come...
A Few Fun Pictures
Gabby has been busy these past few weeks. We went to the farm and she got to ride Morning Glory. Grandma Debi was amazed at how far she likes to ride! It was a beautiful day and we had fun visiting with Freckles and the goats. Gabby had a little tumble on the stone floors at Grandma Debi's and ended up with a good knock on her nose...but yes, as Grandpa Dale predicted - she is just fine :)
Gabby got a fun new birthday present - a flannel board complete with all the pieces for any nursery rhyme you can think of! Gabby has had fun playing with her board and lately she pretends she is a teacher and uses her pointer (aka back scratcher) and points to the letters on her board. Old (her stuffed dog) and her dolls are excellent students!

Gabby Turns 3!
It is hard to believe that my little girl is already 3 years old! We had a fun get-together the day before her birthday. She got to see a lot of her friends and hang out with her cousins. There were about 20-30 kids at our house :))) Between the trampoline, coloring books, kitchen and bubbles...of and cookies, I think most kids had a really good time. The next morning was Gabby's actual birthday and we had a nice relaxing morning as Gabby opened presents at her leisure (which was very slow!). We were very blessed!
These pictures are from the morning of Gabby's acutal birthday. Gabby got a magic wand from Grandma Debi and she absolutely loves it!

Gabby was Student of the Week
I am so proud of my little girl! She was named Student of the Week today. Attached is the cutest video of Gabby when she was given a McDonald's gift card...
Gabby is really enjoying school. She has made some good friends and is really enjoying her weekly homework. She is learning to use scissors and makes sure we know all the rules at the school.
It is hard to believe that she will be 3 in a couple of weeks!

Gabby in San Diego
This is from our most recent trip to San Diego this month. Gabby saw Dr. Granet and he was blown away with her. Grandma Debi came with us and we were able to squeeze in a trip to the zoo. The best part was watching Grandma Debi push Gabby up a non-functioning escalator...I offered to do the second half of the escalator, come to find out it was working :)
Gabby and her New Puppy Monty
We (or should I say I) broke down and got Gabby her own puppy. His name is Monty and she loves him dearly. He is a good sport and allows her to drag him around everywhere - to say the least. He has been a fun addition to our family. His stint of being an inside dog were short lived...I like dogs that live outside :) He is a lot of fun and full of energy!
