Gabby at school

Gabby went to the vision school today. She found a baby and immediately began reading to her! A sight that warm's our hearts!

We are having some warmer days and so Gabby has been out in the pool. She borrowed a ring from some other kids and she is really enjoying it!

Gabby Loves Playdough

Yes....this is in our living room! We have playdough everywhere!! Gabby loves it. She really enjoys asking you to open each color. Yikes!!

A sunny Day

We have had our first sunny days here in San Diego! This is literally one of the few times that Gabby has been able to wear a tank top...it has been the coldest summer since 1933! Gabby has been at the beach and enjoying the sun. We collected shells, buried her in the sand, chased each other in the waves and had a lot of fun hunting for dogs! Gabby also got very excited with the new books from Grandmother Ann. She has asked us to read them at least 100 times in the last 2 days...

Gabby had a great day today and finished it off with a fun trip to the park. She loves the stairs - but is a little timid on the bridge since she went off the side!

San Diego Botanical Gardens

Gabby is out this morning enjoying the reading and ponds at the gardens. She has her favorite animal shirt on and happy as can be!

Gabby Swimming

Gabby is really starting to swim! She is even in the big kids pool. But what girl could go swimming without Barbie??? Barbie goes swimming with her every day!

Gabby is a chocolate lover

Gabby has no problem eating what she likes....chocolate ice cream! The funniest part was after I took this video and the ice cream was completely melted, we turned around and she had picked the bowl up and drank the remaining contents! Not one drop went to waste :)

Gabby in the Bounce House

This is the bounce house at the Children's Museum. It is great but as you can see - there are some older kids mixed with the younger kids. Gabby is pretty brave and does not get scared even with the big kids jumping all around her...It is fun to watch her being tossed around!

I took this last week of Gabby swimming. It is already outdated...I will try to post some new ones but this is just a snapshot of how much she loves the water!

Active Weekend

We did a lot of fun things this weekend. Gabby found all three of her Wheels on the Bus books and kept telling us that they matched! She also took "New" for a wagon ride all the way to the play park!! We went to the zoo, the Children's Museum and the San Diego Botanical Gardens. The Gardens have a really cool tree house and lots of activities for kids. Gabby has planted a plant, painted plates and learned a lot about foreign citrus.
