Gabby in her Walker

I know this is hard to believe!! Charise and David gave us this walker and Gabby loves it! These pictures are from this morning (2/24/09). Right after I took this photo we looked on the ground and I thought Gabby had spit-up a little....oh no...it was another fluid! Good thing we have hard wood floors!

Gabby Tummy Time

I snapped these photos Sunday morning (2/22/09). Gabby is starting to like tummy time more and more and loves to hold her head up.

Gabby's got new shades

These are a new pair of sunglasses that Gabby has. They are softer on her face and leave fewer marks - but they make her look a little like Kermit the Frog! To make her feel better, Gordon bought a huge pair of over-the-top white sunglasses that say "Playboy" on the side. He said this way Gabby will always see him in sunglasses and think they are cool. No need to worry, we have other colors to match her outfits!

Gabby's 4 month visit

Gabby had her 4 month visit on Feb 18, 2009. She weighed in at 14 lbs!! The doctor was very pleased with her head stability and even said we could start rice cereal. The doctor asked me "Is Gabby this happy all the time?" The truth is...Gabby is a wonderful baby that is typically smiling (although in these shots she was not too happy but who can blame her as she was just about to have her shots).

Gabby's Tummy Time

Believe it or not, Gabby is starting to enjoy tummy time! She is up to about an hour and a half everyday - and not crying!!! We are so happy :) We have started doing all kinds of modified tummy time. This is a shot of Gordon and Gabby in the morning on February 10, 2009. Gabby is starting to smile (sometimes we think she is smiling at us) and shriek. She is in her 4 month growth phase and as the doctor told us last week - it doesn't look like she is missing any meals!

Bigler Family on Feb 8, 2009

This was a quick snapshot that Grandmother Ann took with my camera. Gabby gets lots of attention when Ann is in town, not to mention a lot of new toys. This last trip, Ann brought Gabby her first "band set" and piano! Gabby expecially loves music and sounds and as the joke in the Creighton house goes...she has Huntley ears!

Feb 5, 2008

Gabby decided to wake up at 4am this morning! We had a blast playing and I thought I'd snap a few pictures. She is doing better with tummy time (thanks to a lot of research and suggestions by Grandmother Ann) and is holding her head higher and higher each day!

She loves her bath time! Gordon actually gave her a both alone the other day...although he forgot to use soap!! Oh well - at least she was rinsed!

Gabby is over 13 lbs!

Here is a good picture of Gabby on the 1st of February (sorry for the naked baby shots...). She is getting stronger every day. She really likes to stand up and hang with the big kids. We had a recent doctor visit and Gabby weighed over 13 lbs - even though she continues to refuse the bottle all day long!
