Gabby's 1st Christmas

Gabby is an "early to bed" gal and missed Santa's entrance...BUT we couldn't let her miss Santa all together! We told Santa that she had been a perfect little angel and he was very generous to her.

Gabby with Grandmother Ann

Gabby was able to go and visit Grandmother Ann Bigler. We now know where Gabby gets her red hair! Ann gave Gabby several books for dad to read to her - and he enjoys them as much as she does as they are all of his childhood favorites! Gabby enjoyed meeting and spending time with Ann and enjoyed her reading Brown Bear to her.

Gabby & Mia

On my trip home I was able to visit my friend Jennifer. Amazingly, Jen's daughter Mia was born on the same day as Gabby!

Gabby's Baptism - 12/21/08

Gabby was baptized at the Creighton Family Church in Weldon, CA. The pastor (Brian Mark) was the same that married Gordon and I AND knew Gordon as a young child (he was a teacher at the school Gordon went to as a 4th grader).Add Image Gabby was great through the entire ceremony...she was sound asleep!

The day was full of joy and appreciation and a wonderful prime rib dinner thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Creighton.

Look Gabby's Walking!

Dad is working hard on Gabby's walking skills...I need to remind him that she still needs to learn how to crawl!

2 Month Shots

Gabby was a trooper when she received her 2 month immunization shots!

Gabby with Grandma Debi

My mom came down to babysit Gabby while Gordon and I went to my company's Christmas party. We were so excited about a night out dressed up that we forgot to take a picture of us! Oh well...grandma and Gabby had a great time, when we came home they were in the same place that we left them (Debi was in the rocker and Gabby was fast asleep in her arms).

The picture of Gabby in her pink outfit is over Thanksgiving...I think there is a theme here with Gabby sleeping in my mom's arms - no wonder why she likes it when we go to the farm, she never has to sleep in her crib :)

Gabby with her Great Grandma

Gabby was able to meet her great Grandma Winnie for the first time over Thanksgiving. She was a little cranky and cried the whole time but we managed to get a few pictures anyways!

Beautiful Evening Walks on the Beach

This picture was today (11/18/08) - we have been enjoying evening walks on the beach with incredible sunsets. We are reminded that we live in a beautiful place!

Gabby is 1 month today!!

Gabby continues to grow

Gabby in a bath

Gabby loves the water - like father like daughter!

Gabby with Daddy

A peaceful evening before bed :)

November 4, 2008

This is Gabby in her bouncy chair! Look at that hair...I'm not sure where it all comes from!

Gabby with Aunt Sandy

Aunt Sandy came to visit Gabby on October 28, 2008. I celebrated with drinking a great bottle of wine out of my "sippy cup" and eating Brie! I also put together the bouncer that we got for Gabby...I needed Sandy to tell me that it vibrated!!

Uncle Tom's Visit

Grandma with Gabby

Grandma Debi stayed with Kandiss & Gordon for a couple of days after the birth to help them get adjusted. Thank goodness!

Gabby's First Days

A few more pictures taken by Grandma Creighton on October 21, 2008. Gabby hasn't learned how to pose for the camera yet and thought she'd make a silly face...

Gabby's First Bath

This was Gabby's 1st bath. She did not enjoy that much but dad and I are hopeful that she learns to like it as we have big plans for her to be a swimmer or maybe a water polo player!

Pediatrician's Visit

Gabby is a great eater...At her first doctor's visit, she weighed 5lbs 13.2 ozs. - basically her birth weight!

Welcome Home

We brought Gabby home on October 18, 2008. Dad started reading the Wall Street Journal to her right away!
